Percussion

The Katy High School percussion studio is an award winning ensemble that is led by Mrs. Maria Singer and performs throughout the year.  In addition to performing with the Katy Tiger Marching Band, Concert Bands, Full Orchestra, and Jazz Band, the percussion studio also includes various concert percussion ensembles that perform at the UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest. Katy Indoor Percussion actively participates in WGI events and is a consistent medalist in the Texas Color Guard Circuit. Most recently the group earned the Silver Medal for Class PSA at the 2018 TCGC State Championship.
