Blake BishopAssistant Band Director
[email protected] Blake Bishop is proud to be a part of the Katy High School Band as an Assistant Band Director! Mr. Bishop grew up in Katy and graduated from Tompkins High School in 2020. Mr. Bishop graduated from Sam Houston State University in the Spring of 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. While at SHSU, he performed with the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Bearkat Marching Band and Trumpet Choir. Mr. Bishop has a well-rounded career in the marching arts where he has found a true passion for performing and teaching. Mr. Bishop marched with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps in 2022 and 2023. While attending Sam Houston State University, Mr. Bishop had the privilege of teaching at The Woodlands High School, Tomball Memorial High School and Conroe High School as a visual technician. Mr. Bishop taught at Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps in 2024. He also had the privilege of performing with Undaunted Winter Guard for the 2025 winter season. |
